Dean Miller started work in the excavation industry 23 years ago in Yarra Glen, building stormwater systems. He then went on to work with the Gas & Fuel Corporations as a mains and services contractor in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Following this he was contracted to install gas pipelines in Howlong, Corowa, Yarrawonga and Mulwala. He was also involved in the gas reticulation of Cobram and Numurkah. After that Dean and Tracy Miller stayed in Barooga.... that was eleven years ago.

The business then changed its focus to general plant hire and thanks to local businessmen Jamie Curry and Ray Brooks, they became involved with subdivisions.

Over the past 10 years D & T Miller have extend there range of work to include being the principal contractor on residential, rural & industrial Subdivisions, bulk earth works including retention basin and major water storages, road construction, major site cuts & fill and all areas of irrigation works.

Now the business is busier than ever, and its current works go anywhere from subdivisions, to storm water systems, and laying the ground works for car parks and road construction as well as water and gas reticulation pipelines.

Recently Dean & Tracy Miller expanded by purchasing the business operations of John Murray Excavations.

We still have a full time crew in Echuca which covers North Eastern Victoria and the southern Riverina. This is in addition to our main office in Park Court, Cobram.
